With Catherine and my sister getting married in the next few months, I guess you could say I’ve always got wedding on ze brain. I usually have so much trouble coming up with titles for my post but as soon as I put on this outfit, I was immediately inspired. The only thing this look is missing is the Something Borrowed but that’s only because John took these photos and not Catherine. If it had been Cath, I would definitely have added something from her closet / jewelry collection / lip color choices to round out the look.
*I feel like I start a lot of posts like this but…* One of my favorite things about being a blogger is getting to work with brands that otherwise would not be on our day to day radar. (No offense to H&M, Zara, Forever 21 & Free People because we love those brands, of course). This jumpsuit is named adequately “Midsummer’s Dream” and I sure do feel like I’m a little fairy flitting thru the woods when I’m wearing it. Literally, it makes me want to prance around. *As seen on The Crystal PressI am so so very ready for it to truly be Spring in Virginia! Coming off our Guatemala trip I was ready for the heat. Much to my dismay, this weekend was made up of 50 degree temps with the sun making the occasional appearance. I have to admit I was disappointed, but not entirely so. I love any opportunity to wear a comfy sweater and Catherine can attest to the fact that I am always trying to make them fashionable, but rarely find success in doing so. Needless to say, when we were picking out our Sunday threads to head to our friend’s studio opening, I was finally able to make this old Theory sweater happen!
I could go on for days about the comfort of this outfit but I should tell you about this awesome skirt.
