I have been (back) on the velvet train since this past winter. I just had a feeling that my favorite style from when I was approx. 6 years old was just going to make a comeback. SO around Christmastime I wore this long sleeved crush velvet number (from Forever 21!!) and was hoping I would be ahead of the curve.
Sure enough, it was all over the runways in Paris & Milan! Here are some of my favorite pieces:

Love these simple sequence dresses on the runway at Jason Wu, Fall 2015
Loving the over-the-knee leather at Calvin Klein:
Fur, leather & winter white on the Ralph Lauren Runway – stunning.

AND another one of my long-time icons lands a Fashion Campaign.
JONI MITCHELL photographed in a piece made especially for her by Hedi Slimane for Saint Laurent. JM isn’t Slimane’s first musical muse but he has truly captured her essence as well as the the essence of the fashion house in this beautiful campaign.
From the bold colors of Versace to the delicate Chloe lace, here are some of my favorites from Pre-Fall 2015 (via vogue.com)
Some of my favorite ladies / style icons celebrating the Louis Vuitton Monogram in NYC.
one dayyy…. a girl can dream right?
Since I’m getting married next summer I felt that I should weigh in on this past week’s Bridal runways.
It’s no surprise I ended up picking 3 long sleeve gowns as my favorite as that is what I will most likely end up with. (Click photos to enlarge!)
^^ I absolutely love this Marchesa gown ^^ The 3/4 lace sleeves look so elegant with the tulle princess skirt! This is perfect for a fairytale wedding.
^^ This Temperley gown is a bit more modern ^^ I love the silhouette that this gown shows off & the layering adds delicate dimension to the slimming frame.
^^ Seriously swooning over this beaded Marchesa ^^ Like always, the detail in this design is incredible. The color is not your traditional bright white which adds another layer of uniqueness to this gown, in my humble opinion. The beading on the bodice & on the bottom of the dress contribute to the unique detail and the beaded sleeves are absolutely gorgeous!! #inmydreams
I’m wearing my mother’s dress but looking at what is out on the runways and in the bridal stores has given me an excellent idea for how to make the dress unique this time around!!!
